It's confirmed! The unbeaten and six-time world champion, Floyd "Money" Mayweather, recently announced his comeback via his personal twitter account (@floydmayweather) that he will return to boxing and face the young, hard puncher and new WBC welterewight world champion Victor "Vicious" Ortiz on September 17. The bout takes place on the Mexican Independece Day celebration.

The announcement has become an instant trend buzzing across the sports pages and social networkings sites as finally Mayweather returns inside the boxing ring. We all know that Toprank Promotions has been arranging for 3 times a mega-fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao but the man doesn't intend to fight the reigning pound-for-pound (PP4) king as of now. On the other hand, Pacquiao next fight against Marquez for their trilogy showdown. Fans, let us just wait for the Mayweather vs Ortiz on September and Pacquiao vs Marquez III on November, hoping this two biggest boxing superstars finally meet in the much awaited super-fight.
