Mayweather vs CottoEarly February, the undefeated WBC welterweight champion Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. was granted a license to fight by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. He was set to face three-time champion Miguel "Angel" Cotto on May 5 before serving the 87-day delayed jail sentence for domestic violence on June 1. Therefore, Mayweather vs Cotto is officially on!

Mayweather (42-0, 26 knockouts) is undeniably one of the biggest boxing star of this generation. His last fight with the former WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz was quite intriguing because of his sneak combination to Ortiz.

Cotto (37-2, 30 knockouts) has come from an impressive fight against the man who has given the other loss he had Antonio Margarito. The three-time world champion is the reigning WBO junior middleweight champion.
