Mayweather, Mosley agreed Olympic-style drug test

Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley agreed to undergo the Olympic-style drug testing for their May 1 Who R U Picking? fight in Las Vegas, which the two hopes will set a new boxing standard.

Travis Tygart of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency was joined by the representative of two fighters on a conference call Thursday to discuss the program. The testing program will be used to Floyd and Mosley is more extensive than the current testing under the state athletic commissions.

"This is one of the biggest events I've seen in the sport of boxing, and if this introduces Olympic-style testing to boxing, we not only have delivered a great fight but also leveled the field for athletes," said Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions.
Both Mayweather and Mosley will undergo number of unannounced blood and urine tests before and after the fight, and the results will be stored so USADA can test them in the future. The samples are screened for all drugs currently banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, including human growth hormone and designer steroids like THG.

Will this move set a new boxing standard? Do you agree to this? Yes or No?
